Code Of Conduct

Helios is a human-led, AI-powered platform built to connect people, knowledge, and capabilities across manufacturing. To keep Helios trusted, useful, and professional, all users must follow this Code of Conduct when using the platform.

This Code applies to everyone using Helios, including experts, companies, students, vendors, associations, partners, customers, and other users.

1. Act Professionally

Use Helios in a respectful, honest, and professional way. Be clear, constructive, and fair in your communications and conduct.

You may not harass, threaten, bully, discriminate against, intimidate, or abuse others on or through Helios.

2. Be Honest and Authentic

The information you provide on Helios must be accurate and not misleading.

Do not:

  • impersonate any person, company, or organization
  • create fake accounts, fake listings, or fake opportunities
  • misrepresent your identity, skills, experience, certifications, affiliation, pricing, or availability
  • submit false reports, fake documents, or manipulated evidence

3. Use Helios Lawfully

You may only use Helios for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, contracts, and third-party rights.

Do not use Helios for fraud, deception, unlawful financial activity, unauthorized data collection, infringement, or any illegal or abusive conduct.

4. Respect Privacy and Confidentiality

Respect the privacy, confidential information, and personal data of others.

Do not:

  • collect, scrape, or misuse personal data without authorization
  • share confidential or proprietary information without permission
  • upload or use files, designs, documents, or technical materials you are not authorized to handle
  • access another person’s account or information without permission

5. Protect Intellectual Property

Only post, share, request, sell, or use content and materials you have the right to use.

Do not infringe copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, or other rights. Do not use Helios to copy, distribute, or profit from unauthorized content, designs, technical files, or business information.

6. Engage Fairly in the Marketplace

If you use Helios to offer or request services, gigs, quick tasks, consultations, or other opportunities, you must act in good faith.

Do not:

  • post fake jobs, fake projects, or fake service requests
  • mislead others about scope, pricing, timing, or deliverables
  • accept payment without intent to deliver
  • request work without intent to pay where payment is required

7. No Fraud or Payment Abuse

Where Helios supports payments or payouts, all financial activity must be legitimate and authorized.

Do not:

  • use stolen or unauthorized payment methods
  • submit false payout, tax, identity, or business details
  • engage in chargeback abuse, refund fraud, or transaction manipulation
  • exploit platform systems, rewards, credits, or promotions dishonestly

8. No Harmful or Unsafe Conduct

Helios does not allow content or conduct involving violence, exploitation, criminal abuse, or serious safety risks.

Do not use Helios to threaten harm, facilitate exploitation, promote dangerous illegal activity, or share guidance intended to support real-world harm.

9. Do Not Abuse the Platform

Do not interfere with the security, integrity, or proper operation of Helios.

This includes:

  • attempting unauthorized access
  • scraping or bulk extracting data without permission
  • sending spam, phishing, or malicious content
  • introducing malware or harmful automation
  • creating multiple accounts to evade enforcement or restrictions

10. Use Reviews and Reports Responsibly

If Helios offers ratings, reviews, badges, or reporting tools, use them honestly and in good faith.

Do not:

  • post fake reviews
  • manipulate ratings or reputation systems
  • submit false or malicious reports
  • retaliate against users who leave honest feedback or report concerns

11. Cooperate with Safety and Compliance Reviews

If Helios reviews a report, dispute, verification issue, or possible policy violation, you may be asked to provide information or documentation. You must cooperate honestly and not attempt to mislead, obstruct, or retaliate during a review.

12. Enforcement

Helios may investigate potential violations of this Code and may take action as needed to protect users, the platform, and third parties.

This may include removing content, restricting features, delaying or limiting payments or payouts, suspending listings, requiring verification, suspending accounts, or permanently removing accounts.

13. Updates to This Code

Helios may update this Code of Conduct from time to time. Continued use of the platform after an update means you agree to the revised version, to the extent permitted by law.
