Welcome to Helios — the opportunity platform built for the global manufacturing community. By registering for, accessing or using the Platform, services, features or content provided by Helios (the “Services”), you (“you”, “your”, “User”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”), our Privacy Policy and any other terms referenced herein. This constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and Helios.

If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant you have authority to bind that organization and that each of your users will comply with these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not register or use the Services.

1. About Helios

Helios connects companies, experts, students, and vendors in the manufacturing industry. Users can create profiles, share resumes, post opportunities, upload manuals and guides, showcase videos or services, and interact with others to grow their professional network.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Helios, you confirm that you:

  • Are at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your country).
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
  • You agree to register only one Account for yourself unless otherwise authorised by Helios. If an organisation uses the Services, you must have authority and you are responsible for all users under your organisation’s account.
  • Will comply with all applicable laws and these Terms.
  • If you are using Helios on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Your Account

  • Accuracy: You must provide true and accurate information when creating an account.
  • Security: Keep your password secure and do not share it with others. You are responsible for any activity under your account.
  • Authenticity: Fake identities, impersonation, or misleading credentials are prohibited.
  • Termination: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to the community.
  • 4. User Content & Intellectual Property
  • Ownership: You own the content you create and post on Helios.
  • License to Helios: By posting, you grant Helios a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content to operate and improve the platform.
  • Respect IP: Only post content you have the right to share. Do not infringe trademarks, copyrights, patents, or trade secrets.

DO NOT:

  • reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit the Services for commercial purposes not authorised by Helios;
  • circumvent, disable or otherwise interfere with security or access controls of the Platform;
  • use any robot, spider, scraper, crawler, or other automated means to access the Services;
  • use the Services to collect or harvest information about other users without their consent;
  • use the Services to send unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, spam or other commercial solicitation;
  • use another user’s account or provide false credentials;
  • modify, adapt, translate, or reverse engineer any part of the Services for which the rights to do so are not expressly granted.

5. Community Standards, Prohibited Activities & “Do’s and Don’ts”

Do’s: You must:

  • act ethically and professionally;
  • represent yourself and your credentials truthfully;
  • use the Platform only for its intended purpose;
  • respect others’ rights (IP, privacy, confidentiality);
  • report any misuse or violation of these Terms.

Don’ts: You must not:

  • misrepresent your identity, experience, qualifications or affiliations;
  • create a false identity or impersonate another person or organisation;
  • use the Services to solicit personal data from other users, unless explicitly authorised;
  • use bots, scripts or other automated means to access, scrape or collect data from the Platform or to add/download contacts or users;
  • send unwanted communications, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes or other unsolicited promotions;
  • interfere with the operations of the Platform, overload the systems, or circumvent technical restrictions;
  • upload, post, transmit or distribute malicious software or code, or use the Services for fraud, phishing, or other illegal activities;
  • remove or obscure any copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights notices from materials;
  • use the Services in a way that violates others’ rights, or that is harmful, harassing, violent, hateful, discriminatory or disruptive.

6. SPAM & Platform Integrity

Helios prohibits:

  • Unsolicited commercial content (ads, promotions, affiliate links) unless clearly relevant and welcomed.
  • Mass messaging or solicitation of users.
  • Repetitive or duplicate posts across groups or threads.
  • Manipulating platform features for commercial gain without genuine participation.

7. Illegal & Restricted Content

You must NOT post or share:

  • Illegal materials (including counterfeit goods, stolen intellectual property, or controlled substances).
  • Child sexual exploitation, human trafficking, or forced labor content.
  • Instructions to commit crimes or bypass laws.
  • Malware, phishing scams, or attempts to hack Helios or its users.

Helios values your privacy and follows global data standards such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other applicable laws.

  • Data We Collect: Account info (name, email, profile details), content you share, and platform usage data.
  • How We Use It: To provide services, improve features, enforce safety, and communicate with you.
  • Your Rights: Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, or limitation of your data.
  • Third-Party Services: We may use trusted vendors to help operate Helios but will protect your data under appropriate agreements.
  • Security: We take reasonable steps to safeguard your data but cannot guarantee complete security.

  • 9. Payments, Billing & Fees (if applicable)

 If you consume or purchase paid Services (subscriptions, gig fees, premium features), the following apply:

  • you agree to pay all fees as described in the applicable order, invoice or subscription terms;
  • payment will be processed according to our billing methods;
  • all fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated;
  • Helios reserves the right to change pricing or billing terms upon notice; continued use after changes means acceptance;
  • failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your access; you remain responsible for all outstanding amounts

Helios may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms. You can report violations, including spam, harassment, or illegal activity, through our reporting tools or by contacting us at support@

11. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with another user or Helios:

  • Initial Resolution: Contact our support team to resolve issues informally.
  • Fast Track: We may offer an expedited review process for clear violations (e.g., spam, harassment, IP misuse, CSE).

12. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Helios is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

  • User-generated content or interactions.
  • Business or employment outcomes based on platform use.
  • Damages beyond what is legally required under applicable law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect improvements, legal requirements, or community needs. We’ll notify users of significant changes. Continued use of Helios means you accept the updated Terms.
