Each card shows: cover image, profile photo, name, headline, industry count, skill count, rate range, a star icon to save to Collection, and a View More button.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the hourly rate range determined?+
Experts set their own rate range when creating their profile. The rate displayed is the range they are willing to work within for consulting, contract, or gig-based engagements.
Can I message an expert before committing to a project?+
Yes. Click the Message icon on any expert's profile to start a direct conversation in Message Hub. Use this to ask questions, discuss your needs, or confirm availability before formally engaging.
What does the maturity level in the Skills table mean?+
The maturity scale reflects the expert's self-assessed proficiency: Familiar (1), Developing (2), Proficient (3), Advanced (4), and Master (5).

Troubleshooting

I am filtering by industry but getting no results.+
Some industries may have fewer registered experts. Try broadening your search by removing one or more filter criteria, or use the Can't Find Expert option to request a match.
I clicked Invite to Gig but no gigs appear in the list.+
This means you don't have any active Gig Postings. Create a Gig Posting first, then return to invite the expert.

Tips for Getting the Most Out of Experts

  • Use the Collection tab to build a shortlist of experts you'd like to work with before committing to a request.
  • The Can't Find Expert button is the fastest way to alert the Helios team that a specific expertise gap exists. Submissions are reviewed and new experts are recruited based on demand.
  • Check an expert's Services count on their card to see if they offer pre-packaged services you can request directly, rather than posting a custom gig.
