Helios has two account types: Business and Expert. Each has a distinct set of features, navigation, and platform experience tailored to their role in the manufacturing ecosystem.

Business Accounts

•  Create and manage a Business Profile showcasing capabilities, certifications, equipment, and offerings

•  Post Gigs and Quick Tasks for expert help

•  Browse and request Services from expert listings

•  Manage equipment registries, task boards, and file storage

•  Discover and connect with other businesses, suppliers, and partners

•  Access Catalogs+ to manage tooling and supplier references

Expert Accounts

•  Build an Expert Profile showcasing skills, experience, certifications, and past work

•  Create and publish Service listings

•  Browse and apply to Gigs and Quick Tasks

•  Receive and manage service requests and engagement contracts

•  Track earnings and manage payouts through Stripe

•  Access Catalogs+, Helios Drive, and Bookmarks for client work support

Which account type should I choose?

A: Choose Business if you are primarily looking to hire experts, manage manufacturing operations, or get discovered as a supplier or partner. Choose Expert if you are primarily looking to offer manufacturing expertise and earn from engagements.

Can I switch my account type?

A: Contact support@heliosplatform.com to request an account type change. Note that some profile data and settings may not transfer between account types.
