Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between publishing to the Business Directory and publishing to the Internet?
Publishing to the Business Directory makes your profile discoverable by other Helios users. Publishing to the Internet creates a public web page that can be shared directly and, if Search Engine Indexing is enabled, discovered through search engines.
Can I have more than one branch?
Yes. Click Add One More Location in the Branches section to add as many branches as needed, each with its own address and contact details.
Who can see my Business Profile?
Profiles published to the Business Directory are visible to other Helios users. Profiles published to the Internet are accessible to anyone with the public link and can also appear in search engine results if indexing is enabled.
Does my equipment list pull from the Equipments feature?
Yes. Equipment added to your Equipments registry automatically populates in the Manufacturing Capabilities section of your Business Profile but internal notes, activities, etc. are only visible to your team.
🔧 Troubleshooting
My profile isn't appearing in Business Listings.
Make sure Show in Discover Businesses is enabled under Listing Visibility. Only profiles published to the Business Directory appear in Business Listings.
My public profile isn't showing up on the Internet.
Verify that you've published your profile using Publish to Internet and turned on Search Engine Indexing. It may take some time for search engines to index new or updated pages.
I cannot edit certain fields on my profile.
Some fields require clicking the Edit or pencil icon next to that section before they become editable.
I see a message that says 'This business profile is unclaimed.'
This means the profile was auto-generated from directory data and has not been verified. Click Claim This Business and follow the verification steps to take ownership.
💡 Tips for Getting the Most Out of Business Profile
  • A complete profile scores higher in the Profile Completeness tracker on your Dashboard. Aim for 100% to maximize visibility.
  • Use Preview to review how your profile appears before publishing it to the Business Directory or the Internet..
  • Add multiple Branches if your business has more than one location, Each branch can have its own contact details.
  • Publish your profile to the Business Directory to be discovered by Helios users, and publish it to the Internet to share a public page that helps potential partners, customers, and collaborators learn about your business.
