Overview

What Is Business Listings?

Business Listings is the searchable directory of all companies on Helios. Discover, research, and connect with other businesses in the manufacturing ecosystem, whether as potential partners, suppliers, customers, or collaborators.

Who Is It For?

  • Businesses - find potential partners, suppliers, distributors, and collaborators. Organize discovered companies as Partners, Customers, or Collection for easy future reference.

  • Browse all businesses on Helios in a card grid
  • Filter by Partners, Customers, or your saved Collection
  • Search by business name, keyword, or industry term
  • Filter by location, capabilities, compliance standards, materials, and industries

Key Terms

  • All Businesses - The default tab showing every business listed on Helios.
  • Partners - Companies you have formally marked as partners in your network.
  • Customers - Companies you have tagged as current, past or potential customers.
  • Collection - Businesses you have starred or saved to your personal watch list.
  • Ecosystem Role - Tags that categorize a business's function in the supply chain (for example, Job Shop, OEM, or Distributor).
  • Unclaimed Profile - A profile that exists in the directory but has not been verified or managed by the company.

Understanding the Page Layout

Business Listings is accessed via Businesses → Listings in the left navigation. Four tabs at the top organize the directory: All Businesses, Partners, Customers, and Collection. A search icon, filter icon, sort icon, grid view, list view, and a compact view are available in the top-right toolbar. Each business card shows: a banner image, company logo, name, short description, industries served count, and action icons for saving, starring, and a View More button.

Searching and Filtering

Click the search icon to open an inline search bar. Click the filter icon to filter the directory by industry, ecosystem role, business size, location, capabilities, compliance standards, or other attributes. The sort icon lets you reorder results.

How to Browse and Search Business Listings

  1. In the left navigation, click Businesses then Listings.
  2. Use the tabs at the top to filter your view: All Businesses, Partners, Customers, or Collection.
  3. Use the Search icon to search for a specific company by name or keyword.
  4. Click the Filter icon to narrow results by industry, capabilities, compliance standards, location, and more.
  5. Toggle between Grid view, List view, and Map view using the layout icons in the top-right.

How to View a Business Profile

  1. Find the business listing you want to explore and click View More.
  2. A detailed profile opens with tabs: Overview, Branches, About Us, Offerings, and Manufacturing Capabilities.
  3. Overview shows the company's headline, business size, ecosystem roles, and branch information.
  4. About Us shows their mission, vision, competitive advantages, industries served, and compliance standards.
  5. Offerings shows the products or services they provide.
  6. Manufacturing Capabilities shows their capabilities matrix and equipment list.

How to Save and Organize Businesses

  1. On any listing card or profile, click the Star icon to add the business to your Collection.
  2. Use the available icons to mark a business as a Partner or Customer.
  3. View all saved businesses under the Collection tab on the Business Listings page.


Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Partners, Customers, and Collection?+
Partners are businesses you have a formal supply or collaboration relationship with. Customers are businesses you sell to or have sold to. Collection is a general-purpose save list for businesses you want to track or reference.
Can I contact a business directly from the Listings page?+
Yes. Open the business profile and use the contact details in the Branches tab, or use the message icon to send a direct message through Message Hub.
What does Unclaimed mean on a business profile?+
It means no verified employee has taken ownership of that profile. Click Claim This Business if you work for that company.


Troubleshooting

I cannot find a business I know is on the platform.+
Use the Search function to search by exact name. If the business still does not appear, they may have unpublished their profile. Try clearing your active filters and searching again.
The business profile I opened shows limited information.+
If the profile is unclaimed or the business hasn't fully completed their setup, some sections may be empty. The profile owner needs to log in and complete their Business Profile to populate all fields.


Tips for Getting the Most Out of Business Listings

  • Use the Partners and Customers tabs to quickly access businesses you've already tagged, rather than searching the full directory each time.
  • Star businesses you're considering working with to save them to your Collection for easy revisiting.
  • The compact third view is useful when you want to scan many listings quickly without the visual weight of full banner cards.
