What Is a Deletion Request?

Deletion requests allow workspace owners and account holders to formally submit a request to have their Helios workspace or personal account permanently removed. Because there is no self-serve delete option in the platform, all deletion requests are submitted through the Helios Support panel and handled by the Helios team.

Workspace - Your organization's dedicated environment within Helios, where all members, files, gigs, catalogs, and platform activity are housed under one account.

Account - Your individual Helios user profile, including your login credentials, personal settings, and activity history.

Deletion Request - A support submission asking the Helios team to permanently remove your workspace or account from the platform.

Helios Support Panel - The in-platform support tool, accessed via the lightbulb icon in the top navigation bar, used to submit requests to the Helios team.

Understanding the Deletion Process

Workspace and account deletion cannot be completed directly from your settings. To protect your data and prevent accidental removal, all deletions are processed manually by the Helios team. You submit your request through the Helios Support panel, and the team will follow up to confirm and complete the deletion.

This process applies to both workspace deletion (removing your entire organization's environment) and individual account deletion (removing your personal user profile).

How to Submit a Deletion Request

  1. Click the lightbulb icon in the top-right corner of the navigation bar to open the Helios Support panel.
  2. In the support panel, select Delete Workspace or Account.
  3. In the Title field, enter a brief description of your request (for example, "Delete my workspace" or "Delete my account").
  4. In the Description field, provide relevant details, including whether you are requesting workspace deletion, account deletion, or both, and any context the Helios team may need.
  5. Click Send to submit your request.

The Helios team will review your submission and reach out to confirm the deletion before any action is taken.



Frequently Asked Questions

Who can submit a workspace deletion request?

Any workspace member can submit a deletion request through the Support panel. However, only the workspace Owner can authorize the final deletion. The Helios team will confirm with the Owner before proceeding.

Can I delete just my account without deleting the workspace?

Yes. You can request deletion of your individual account separately from the workspace. Specify this clearly in your request description so the Helios team can process it accordingly.

Is deletion permanent?

Yes. Once a workspace or account is deleted, the action cannot be undone. All data, files, gigs, and member records associated with the workspace or account will be permanently removed. Make sure to back up any information you need before submitting your request.

How long does the deletion process take?

Processing times may vary. The Helios team will contact you after receiving your request to confirm details and provide a timeline.

What happens to active gigs or services when a workspace is deleted?

The Helios team will advise you on any active engagements or pending transactions that need to be resolved before deletion can be completed.



Troubleshooting

I can't find the Delete Workspace or Account option.

Open the Helios Support panel by clicking the lightbulb icon in the top navigation bar. Scroll to the bottom of the support category list — Delete Workspace or Account is the last option.

I submitted a request but haven't heard back.

Check your registered email inbox, including your spam or junk folder. If you have not received a response within a reasonable timeframe, resubmit your request through the Support panel with a note that it is a follow-up.



Tips

Before submitting a deletion request, navigate to Settings → Manage Members to review all active members on your workspace. Informing your team members before requesting deletion ensures no one loses access to important data unexpectedly. If you have active subscriptions or platform invoices, visit Settings → Platform Invoices to review any outstanding charges before your workspace is removed.
