Helios Violence and Misbehavior Policy
At Helios, we are committed to fostering a professional, respectful, and safe environment for all members of our manufacturing community. We maintain a zero-tolerance stance against any form of violence, threats, or misbehavior that disrupts or endangers the well-being of our users or the integrity of our platform.
1. Zero Tolerance for Violence
We strictly prohibit any content, behavior, or communication that:
- Glorifies, incites, or directly/indirectly threatens physical harm, violence, or property damage. This includes promoting self-harm or suicide.
- Depicts or promotes the use of weapons or explosives with the intent to intimidate, harm, or threaten others.
- Supports, celebrates, or associates with terrorist organizations or violent extremist groups.
2. Prohibited Threatening or Aggressive Behavior
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate action:
- Direct or implied threats of physical violence, verbal abuse, or harm against any individual or group.
- Bullying, intimidation, harassment, or coercion, including but not limited to:
- Sexual harassment or unwanted sexual advances.
- Stalking or repeatedly targeting specific individuals or groups.
- Discriminatory behavior based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation,
disability, or any other protected characteristic. - Inciting others to engage in harassment, bullying, or targeting of a person or group.
3. Misbehavior and Disruptive Conduct
Helios is a platform for opportunity, learning, and collaboration. We will take decisive action against any user who engages in disruptive or inappropriate conduct, including:
- Uploading content that is hateful, obscene, sexually explicit, gratuitously shocking, or otherwise inappropriate for a professional community.
- Spamming, trolling, or purposefully disrupting discussions, content threads, or platform functionality.
- Using impersonation, manipulation, or deception to mislead, defraud, or gain unauthorized access.
- Posting misleading, malicious, or fabricated ratings or reviews intended to harm an individual, company, or the platform's reputation.
- Unauthorized access or attempts to access other users' accounts or sensitive platform data.
- Sharing private or confidential information of others without their explicit consent (doxing).
4. Reporting Procedures and Incident Handling
If you encounter or witness any violent, threatening, or disruptive behavior:
- Immediately use the "Report" function available on the platform for the specific content or user. This is the fastest way for our team to investigate.
- If you feel personally threatened, disengage from the interaction immediately and contact our Safety & Trust Team at [insert dedicated Safety & Trust Team contact email/phone number here,]. For urgent matters, consider contacting local law enforcement if you believe there is an immediate danger.
- Helios will promptly and impartially investigate all reported incidents. During an investigation, we may gather evidence, interview involved parties, and consult with relevant experts. We will strive to maintain confidentiality to the extent possible, while ensuring a thorough investigation.
5. Enforcement Actions and Penalties
Violations of this policy will result in proportionate and consistent enforcement actions, which may
include, but are not limited to:
- Content removal.
- Issuance of formal warnings.
- Temporary account suspension.
- Permanent account bans from the Helios platform.
- Revocation of platform privileges.
- Legal action against individuals who violate our platform’s safety standards or applicable laws.
6. Legal Cooperation and Evidence Preservation
Where applicable, Helios may:
- Cooperate fully with law enforcement or regulatory authorities in investigations of illegal activities.
- Preserve and provide evidence related to reported violence, misbehavior, or illegal conduct to authorities.
7. Appeals Process
